Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed off-hire inspections and identify damage or liability
  • Prepare and present evidence-based back charges to management
  • Review RTW scopes, validate costs, timelines, and monitor progress
  • Escalate risks or delays to relevant stakeholders
  • Assess and approve scope variations, ensuring justification and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with supervisors, workshop managers, and vendors
  • Inspect new fleet purchases and manage pre-handover work
  • Sign-off on maintenance, rebuilds, refurbishments, and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Conduct fire and machine audits, record findings, assign actions, and ensure close-out
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across fleet operations
What You’ll Bring
  • Desirable to have a Mechanical trade qualification (nationally accredited)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy mobile equipment
